We all know tech has a woman problem – as in there aren’t enough.
Isolation, image and technical culture are all contributing factors.
But it’s time to stop talking about this problem and do something.
A solution is needed now and at a grand scale.
Our approach — Aspirations in Computing – is addressing this issue, for 1000’s of girls across the US.
In this program, recognition, community and social media come together to mitigate isolation, change the image of tech, and arm young women to succeed in male-dominated tech culture.
Ruthe (include photo of me here) will share how the simple act of recognizing potential in young women can solve this shortage.
“There is no more lucrative investment than recognizing potential in a young person, and watching her thrive”
